Bally Jagpal

Bally had a massive influence on the desi scene, not only as a part of B21 but perhaps even more so as a solo artist.

His production style was sometimes random and sometimes chaotic, but it was always cutting edge and addictive, making music that he somehow knew people would warmly welcome.

In an interview in 2018 on Radio One’s Annie Mac Show, the British actor and rapper Riz Ahmed (Venom,Starwars Rogue One) told the story of how, as a young teenager, he met Bally Jagpal backstage after a show. By chance Bally heard Riz Mc freestyling and came over to offer some much appreciated encouragement and inspiration.
